A provincial by-election has been called in the Abbotsford-Mission (ABM) electoral district. Election Day is September 26, 2026, but there are lots of ways to vote before then. All eligible voters in ABM can vote on Election Day, at advance voting, at the ABM district electoral office, or by mail.

You can use this system to register to vote in British Columbia or update your voter registration. You can also use this system to register as a future voter.

You will need to provide your name, date of birth, address, and one of the following identification numbers:

  • your B.C. driver's licence number,
  • your B.C. Identification Card number,
  • the last six digits of your Personal Health Number, or
  • the last six digits of your Social Insurance Number.

To protect your privacy, voter registration information will not be displayed. You can view our privacy policy here. Remember to close the browser window when you are finished if you are using a public computer.


Making a false statement is a serious offence under the Election Act. Individuals who provide misleading information are liable upon conviction to a fine of up to $20,000 or imprisonment for a term of up to two years, or both.


By-election online package request closed

Vote-by-mail packages for the 2026 Abbotsford-Mission By-election can no longer be requested online. To request a vote-by-mail package for in-person pickup at one of the DEO offices, please visit the by-election page.

Online voter registration closed

If you reside in the Abbotsford-Mission district, online voter registration for your September 26, 2026 by-election is now closed. You may register or update your voter record when you go to vote. Please remember to bring identification.

If you register or update your voter record through this website, your new information will not be added to the Provincial Voters List until after the by-election.

If you are attempting to update your voter registration for the 2026 General Local Elections, please note that Elections BC has already provided the Provincial Voters List to the local governments that requested the list.

You may update your voter registration using this system and it will be used for future provincial elections. Your updated registration will also be provided to local governments that request the list after the 2026 General Local Elections are complete.
